Our campus Internet Service Provider (ISP) reports that they are having ongoing service issues following Sunday’s hurricane and the resulting widespread flooding and loss of power. This is a regional problem affecting many telecommunication carriers and ISP’s from Virginia to Vermont. They are working to restore full service as quickly as possible.
This has resulted in slow service to the Internet, including slow response from PirateNet, MS Live Email (student email), and Blackboard.
